How I Write Books! Part Three: Drafting

Hello friends! It’s time for another installment of How I Write Books. This time, I’ll be discussing my drafting process. It’s particularly timely, as I’m just about to start drafting a new (my fourth!) scifi horror novella. So it’s all very fresh and sharp in my mind! Well… as fresh and sharp as my mind ever gets.
I will say, though, that my drafting process is not very involved. Nor is it organized. In fact, this entire post could be as simple as:
I write. I keep writing until the book is done.
But that would be boring! So I’ll try to be a bit more detailed, even though most of the drafting process is mostly just dissociating inside a word document until a book is written.
